About

A bond with the horses — a breakthrough in the self.

I came to horses first through joy — through sport, discipline, and the deep bond that grows when you care for a horse every day. I had my own horse, and for years I was an athlete in showjumping.

But as life unfolded, horses became more than something I did. They became somewhere I could go.

During my complicated teen years, and again later in adulthood whenever I found myself struggling, horses became a safe haven: steady, grounding, and honest. I'm no stranger to the quiet weight a person can carry, the kind you don't always have words for. And each time life felt heavy again, I returned to horses not for distraction, but for truth.

What I learned firsthand is this: horses don't ask you to be polished. They don't respond to masks. They respond to what's real — your presence, your nervous system, your boundaries, your honesty. Again and again, they brought me back to steadiness.

And because it's lived experience, I've always felt a pull to share what horses can offer — not as something meant for only a select few, but as a real path for people who are carrying too much and don't know where to begin.

Through Horse Guided Empowerment®, I now hold space for others to experience that same kind of return: a calmer inner world, clearer boundaries, and a deeper connection to who they are beneath the noise.
